Dr. Stacey Palmer is the co-founder of Vivere Healthcare & Wellness, a Direct Primary Care and Lifestyle Medicine practice in Georgetown, Texas, dedicated to helping patients prevent, reverse, and manage chronic disease through evidence-based lifestyle medicine. She founded Vivere alongside her husband, Jarrod Palmer, to create the kind of healthcare practice they always wished existed — one centered on prevention, meaningful relationships, and personalized care.
After personally overcoming autoimmune disease through lifestyle medicine, Dr. Palmer developed a deep passion for helping others take charge of their health. That experience transformed not only her own life, but also the way she practices medicine — combining advanced clinical training with compassionate, individualized care to empower patients to build sustainable habits for lifelong wellness.
As a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, Certified Plantrician Provider, and ACLM Certified in Type 2 Diabetes Remission, Dr. Palmer specializes in whole-food nutrition, cardiometabolic health, diabetes remission, weight management, hormone optimization, and preventive care. Her approach focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of disease rather than simply treating symptoms, helping patients improve energy, reduce inflammation, optimize metabolic health, and lower their risk of chronic disease.
Through the Direct Primary Care model, Dr. Palmer is able to spend more time with each patient, emphasizing prevention, education, and long-term partnerships. She believes that exceptional healthcare begins with listening and that every patient deserves the time, support, and personalized guidance needed to achieve their health goals.
Dr. Palmer earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Texas at Austin, where her doctoral work focused on evidence-based strategies for preventing and addressing the root causes of chronic disease. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and has been published in The Journal of Nursing Education and Practice for her research on improving nutrition education within nursing curricula.
Patients appreciate Dr. Palmer's approachable style, clear communication, and commitment to whole-person care. She strives to ensure every patient feels heard, understood, and empowered to make informed decisions about their health.
Outside the clinic, Stacey enjoys golf, long Sunday runs, and spending time with her husband, Jarrod, and their family. Together, they founded Vivere Healthcare & Wellness to create a practice where prevention comes first, relationships matter, and patients have the time and support to truly thrive. The Palmers are active members of City Church Georgetown.
